Oleksandr Dedyukhin.

He legitimizes terrorism through his public statements. An instigator of hatred toward the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC), blogger, author of extremist statements, preaching the acceptability of killing. Not a rank-and-file propagandist — he was personally awarded by Patriarch Bartholomew during the visit of President Poroshenko’s official state delegation to the Phanar in Istanbul in 2018.

🔴 16 May 2025 Dedyukhin calls on people not to be afraid of being god-fighters and Judases, but to fear the “Moscow Satan” from the “ROC-FSB” (as he refers to the UOC), such as Metropolitan Theodosiy of Cherkasy of the UOC, “who strangles a dove and suffers because he cannot strangle the Holy Spirit”:

“Metropolitan of Cherkasy Theodosiy, ROC-FSB…

Because the most frightening thing for the Moscow Patriarchate is when a person begins to honestly seek God. Not under a church dome, not by permission, not for money. But in suffering. In struggle. In protest. In brokenness. In Gethsemane solitude.

And it is precisely there that the Moscow Satan says: ‘you are rebelling, you are proud, you are a sinner’ — and it is precisely there that a true encounter often begins.

Blessed are the god-fighters. Not because they deny God, but because they cannot accept a counterfeit. They cannot live in decay because they want love. They want truth. And they find Him — not in golden vestments, but in the depth of pain, in an unanswered cry, in tears and denial, in the silence that only lovers or warriors can endure.

That is why the executors of church special operations from the ROC-FSB are so often afraid of sincere questions about suffering.

Because crucifixion follows.

And after crucifixion comes the empty tomb.

And the empty tomb is the beginning of Freedom.

Sometimes one should not be afraid to be god-fighters.

One should fear those who steal ‘quietly’.

Because their god is not the Living God, but the decay of tombs.”

🔴 30 August 2025 He attributes the murder of Andriy Parubiy — former Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the “commandant of the Maidan” — to the “Moscow Satanate” (a wordplay on “Moscow Patriarchate,” as opponents refer to the UOC).

🔴 26 December 2023 He brought armed men with automatic weapons into a church “to glorify God” and called on the authorities to ban the UOC:

“It would be better if a proper law banning the Moscow Patriarchate were adopted — the waiters, the expectants of the ‘Russian world’.”

🔴 11 April 2023 He promises supporters the expulsion of UOC “heretics” from the Kyiv Lavra:

“We will certainly expel the heretics of the MP from Ukrainian land. But their demonic origin is expelled by fasting and prayer… seek the Kingdom of God, and the casting out of demons will be added unto us.

By the way, at present, two things help most in getting rid of Moscow priests: ignoring their services to the point that they begin to doubt their own existence, and a legislative ban by deputies. We are working on this.”

🔴 30 March 2023 He gives a “recipe” for expelling monks and Orthodox believers from the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and, in his fantasies, calls for cutting Orthodox Christians, whom he calls demons:

“So that the adherents of Moscow Satanism leave the Lavra, there is no need to write ‘Down with the Moscow priest!’ or to ‘tell how much we hate them’… or to dream of ‘cutting into pieces the supporters of the ROC-FSB’.

Demons disappear not from our hatred, but from love for God.”

🔴 7 April 2023 He conducts online consecrations — for money. Those who prefer rites in the UOC are traitors to Ukraine:

“Everyone who consecrates willow branches in the MP is not only a heretical schismatic, but also a collaborator and traitor.”

🔴 5 March 2023 He calls UOC believers collaborators and traitors, attributing these words to President Poroshenko:

“To preserve the country, we must preserve unity; we must ensure a single Orthodox Church of Ukraine.

The Moscow Patriarchate made its choice after 2014, and this choice is directed against independent Ukraine. Orthodox believers must unite around the OCU — the canonical Ukrainian Church that received the Tomos from the Ecumenical Patriarch. And collaborators and traitors from the Moscow Patriarchate must bear responsibility for their subversive activities before the law.”

🔴 5 May 2023 He wishes World War II veterans a “Kobzon concert”  i.e., death  and rejoices at the destruction of the memory of victory over fascism:

“Yesterday in Poltava the ‘eternal flame’ was extinguished.

Finally. Hooray…

And to all the ‘grandfathers-who-fought’, the Soviets who will remember the flame and shed tears… let there be a ‘holiday with tears in the eyes’. And a Kobzon concert.”

🔴 12 January 2019 He stated that the UOC consists of heretics and that the Moscow Patriarchate is an agency serving the aggressor:

“(The OCU) is the only truly canonical Orthodox Church in Ukraine. All others are either heretics, like the Moscow Patriarchate (they call themselves the UOC), or ordinary schismatics.

Every day the Moscow Church and its part in Ukraine (‘the UOC’) invent new accusations against the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. But among them there are no real arguments.

It is an agent church of the aggressor state and, according to the recently adopted Law of Ukraine, is subject to re-registration as a Russian church. The only ‘tomos’ the ROC can boast of is Stalin’s letter.

The UOC-MP is simply a branch of the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine; it defends the interests of the aggressor state and by its slander serves not God but the enemies of Christ. But we are called to expose lies and follow the truth, to bear God’s Word and the Truth.”

🔴 6 April 2022 He recommended a prayer for killing Russians:

“May the Lord receive the Moskals with the same joy with which we send them to Him.”

“‘Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God’ (Matthew 5:9). But God has no other hands except ours. And in order to stop a conscience-scorched killer, rapist, looter, sometimes there is no other way than to kill him…

Therefore, in essence, to wish them death is to wish them good and peace.

It is also important to remember that hatred burns us. Moskals should not be hated — they should be loved unto death, especially if they understand no other kind of love. And the sooner their death comes, the sooner they will comprehend Divine love. Our task is to help them in this.

When killing a fascist, one may read the following prayer: ‘Lord, receive this Muscovite unto Yourself with the same joy with which I send him to You!’”

🔴 17 December 2019 He compared Petro Poroshenko not only to the Apostle Peter but also to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, because Poroshenko posted bail for General Dmytro Marchenko, suspected of purchasing low-quality uniforms for the Armed Forces of Ukraine at inflated prices.

🔴 11 January 2018 On Catholic Radio Maria, he persuaded listeners that the Ukrainian Orthodox Church places the “Russian world” above love for Christ and one’s neighbor (audio).

🔴 4 April 2017He stated that after prayers for peace in St. Petersburg, a terrorist attack occurred and that there is a direct connection:

“The passengers of the St. Petersburg metro are no more guilty than others, but death will knock on different doors…

On Sunday we prayed that the Lord would deliver us from the invasion of foreigners. On Monday we fasted. And then, in the northern capital of these militant foreigners, a terrorist attack occurs.

Are these events connected? Of course they are. We ask God to free us, and all hatred and evil directed toward us return to where they came from. This is a spiritual law — if a demon cannot harm outsiders, it gnaws at its owner…

It is correct not to react to their misfortunes at all… Now the time has come for their firstborn.”

🔴 He stated that “forgiving the aggressor means sending 12 grams” of a bullet into vital organs:

“Forgiveness comes in many forms. There is forgiveness through the sight of an assault rifle — that is how the aggressor is forgiven, by sending him from 6 to 12 grams of love into some vital organ. And this also liberates us.

The main thing is not to forget a simple truth: a dead enemy is no longer an enemy. A dead enemy is just a corpse. And we gain freedom by forgiving as much as we are able.”

🔴 He called the All-Ukrainian religious procession “Moscow ghouls”:

“We will troll the ghouls.”

“Beauties in wreaths of garlic are gathering to meet the procession of Moscow ghouls.”

🔴 In 2020, at Poroshenko’s party congress, this OCU representative told a joke about the “Our Father” prayer, distorting and mocking the Book of Genesis.

🔴 While being a priest of the UOC-KP, he supported the legalization of weapons, drugs, and prostitution. Dedyukhin even agreed to “leave” the UOC in Ukraine — but clarified: “small and persecuted.”

🔴 29 March 2017 On reconciliation with Russians — better later, when the Metropolis ceases to exist:

“The war will end under one condition — when the Mordor Metropolis ceases to exist. When its blood-stained tentacles weaken and stop holding colonies on the outskirts of the empire in fear and poverty… And reparations. For everything…

In two or three generations — preferably later.”

🔴 3 November 2018 In Istanbul, Patriarch Bartholomew awarded a cross to UOC-KP priest Oleksandr Dedyukhin, who accompanied Petro Poroshenko in the state delegation during his visit to the Phanar.

🔴 12 September 2016 He stated that the ROC resembles a sect that creates dull fanatics:

“Believers’ feelings cannot be offended… The tandem of the ROC and Russian authorities is trying to turn the people into a dull herd of fanatics that is easier to control. All this will lead the ROC to collapse. The ROC now resembles a totalitarian sect: it manipulates adherents and intimidates them.”

🔴 2017 Dedyukhin preached that the state coup “Euromaidan” was an action of the Holy Spirit:

“The Holy Spirit gives every apostle the power to go out onto the Maidan in Jerusalem and preach. Yes, they did not particularly need Molotov cocktails, because there was already fire over each of them, and that proved sufficient.

And yes, there is no need for a Maidan in Paradise. Because the Maidan is the action of the Holy Spirit in an imperfect world.”
